When you arrive for your first appointment, you will be warmly greeted by our welcoming team and made to feel at ease. Your initial consultation is a chance to discuss your concerns, goals, and preferences with one of our specialist orthodontists. We’ll examine your teeth and gums and make sure you are suitable for treatment.
If you choose to proceed to treatment, we take detailed images of your mouth using our advanced digital technology. We use these to create your personalised treatment plan, which outlines your chosen treatment option, the expected duration and costs. The digital scans are also used to create your custom aligners or braces.
During your fitting appointment, we place your custom brackets on your teeth, or show you how to insert and remove your clear aligners. We will give you some tips and advice for successful treatment and make sure you are completely comfortable with your new appliance.
Throughout your treatment, we see you for regular appointments in our practice. We will check your progress, make sure everything is on track, and make any necessary adjustments. This is also when you receive the next clear aligners if you are having Invisalign treatment.
Our favourite part of your journey – and we expect it will also be yours – is when your treatment is complete and your new smile is revealed! To help you keep your teeth straight for the long-term, we fit you with retainers.
